We, Jytte and Birger live in a small village near Skærbæk in southwestern Jutland with our 4 golden retrievers. Our first golden was purchased in 1974. We started breeding under Danish Kennel Club in 1998: First the show line later we went over to the hunting/working line. Our dogs mean a lot to us and is more of a lifestyle than a hobby. All our dogs are used for practical hunting, working tests and field tests, and our male dogs have throughout the time been used in breeding throughout Europe. Over the years we have sold puppies in most of Europe and to breeders in other countries.
We have very good contact with our puppy buyers throughout the years and are always available with information and help if problems arise.

We have both reviewed Dansk Kennel Club's breeder's education and have been on various seminars. Birger is also a trained instructor at the Danish Retriever Club and has been a trainer for several years. In addition, we both - especially Birger have been active in both the Golden Retriever Club and the Danish Retriever Club, primarily Region South.

Our goal is to breed the hunting/working goldens, which also are a lovely family dogs with a super temperament. The dogs must be trainable and have the natural passion for retrieving.
Health must also be in the top. That's why our dogs (in addition to HD & ED examination and annual eye check) are DNA tested for hereditary diseases and in general they live up to DKK's breeding restrictions as well as DKK and DRK's ethical recommendations.
At the same time, it is important for us that the offspring is typical for the breed and meets the requirement for healthy body construction that is important for the dog to move in the best possible way, avoiding premature and unnecessary wear and tear. A working golden from our kennel is typically of a lighter body, is persevering and has a beautiful golden coat.
